Professional Sound Systems for Events
Professional sound systems designed for speech intelligibility first, matched to the room and the running order, and operated live by a technician.
Overview
Professional Sound Systems across Pakistan
Most corporate audio problems are not volume problems. They are intelligibility problems: a speaker who cannot be understood at the back, a lapel microphone that rustles, feedback that appears when the presenter walks downstage, or a video whose audio is suddenly twice as loud as the person who introduced it.
Kaya designs event sound around speech first. Coverage is planned for the actual room shape and seating spread, microphone choice follows how presenters will actually move, and playback levels are set during rehearsal rather than discovered live.
The system is operated by a technician through the programme, because a sound system that is set up and left alone is a sound system that will eventually surprise you.
Where it is used
Typical applications
Every event asks something slightly different of the setup. These are the situations this service is most often specified for.
Conferences and seminars
Speech coverage across deep rooms with multiple presenters and panel sessions.
Annual meetings and town halls
Leadership speaking positions plus audience question microphones.
Award nights and ceremonies
Speech, music playback and cue-based audio through a long programme.
Product launches
Playback and speech tied to the reveal sequence.
Outdoor events
Coverage across open ground where sound behaves very differently to an enclosed hall.
Institutional ceremonies
Formal programmes with processions, anthems and multiple speaking positions.
Scope of work
What is included
Quoted against your actual event rather than a fixed package. Scope can be reduced or extended depending on what you already have covered.
- System design based on room shape, seating spread and audience size
- Speaker positioning and coverage planning
- Microphones matched to how presenters will actually work
- Mixing desk and signal routing
- Playback integration with screen content and video
- Cable routing planned with the stage and screen build
- Sound check and rehearsal before doors open
- Live operation by a technician through the programme
Not sure what you need?
Send the date and venue and the team will work the rest out with you
Most enquiries start with a rough idea and a photograph of the room. That is enough to begin — the specification is built from there.
Planning considerations
Professional sound systems: what to plan for
The decisions below are inexpensive to make early and expensive to change late. Working through them before the quote is what makes the quote accurate.
Tell the team how presenters will move
A seated panel, a lectern speaker and a presenter who walks into the audience need three different microphone approaches. Knowing the format in advance is the single most useful piece of audio information you can share.
Rooms with hard surfaces need more planning, not more volume
Glass, marble and high ceilings create reflections that reduce clarity as level increases. Coverage design, speaker placement and level discipline solve this; turning the system up does not.
Check video audio before the event
Content with inconsistent audio levels is extremely common and very noticeable live. Supplying video files before the event lets levels be checked and matched during rehearsal.
Outdoors, plan for the space, not the crowd
Open ground offers no reflective surfaces to reinforce sound, so coverage depends entirely on speaker positioning and count. Audience spread and any wind direction should be part of the plan.
Delivery
How Kaya delivers this service
The same five stages apply whether the scope is a single screen or a full production.
-
01
Share the brief
Tell us the event type, expected audience, venue and what has to appear on screen. A rough idea is enough to start.
-
02
Confirm date, venue and requirements
We check the date, review the venue or its drawings, and confirm access, power and load-in timings.
-
03
Plan screen and production scope
We specify the SMD configuration and the stage, sound, lighting, rigging and setup that go with it, then quote against that scope.
-
04
Install, test and operate
The crew installs and tests ahead of the programme, then runs the screen and technical systems live.
-
05
Dismantle and close out
After the event we strike the setup, clear the site and hand the venue back in the condition it was received.
FAQ
Professional Sound Systems — questions we are asked
If your question is not here, send it with your enquiry and you will get a straight answer.
It depends on your format — lectern, panel, roving presenter, audience questions and any performance element each add requirements. Share the running order and the team will scope the microphone plan against it.
Yes. Playback audio from your laptop, media player or video source is integrated into the system and level-matched during rehearsal so transitions are not jarring.
Yes. Live operation by a technician is part of the standard scope, because levels need managing through the programme rather than being set once.
Yes. Sound can be scoped on its own, although coordinating it with the screen and stage usually produces a cleaner result because cabling and positions are planned together.
