Start from viewing distance, not screen size
The closest seat determines pixel pitch and the furthest seat determines overall size. A wall that looks generous on a plan can still be unreadable if fine text is used at the back of a long hall. Share your room dimensions and seating layout and the configuration can be worked back from them.
Confirm what the venue will physically allow
Ceiling height, rigging points, floor loading, door and lift dimensions, and the load-in window all shape what can be installed. Hotels and banquet halls in particular often have fixed rigging rules. Checking this early avoids a redesign on the event day.
Treat power as part of the screen specification
LED walls, processing, lighting and sound draw together. Whether the venue supply is sufficient, whether a generator is needed, and how distribution is routed should be settled at planning stage rather than discovered during load-in.

A finer pitch gives a sharper image close up and suits indoor stages where the audience sits near the screen; a wider pitch is normal for large outdoor screens viewed from a distance and is more cost-effective at scale. The right choice depends on your closest viewing position, and it is confirmed as part of your quote.
Because SMD walls are built from modular cabinets, non-standard widths, heights and multi-panel arrangements are possible within the limits of the structure and the venue. Share the effect you want and it can be assessed against what the space and the rigging will safely take.
